How KGKirk Started

KGKirk Aeronautics Corporation was built to provide the best quality of aviation services in the growing Asian market by its President and CEO, Engr. Glenn Gorospe. Currently, KGKirk Aeronautics is an Approved Maintenance Organization duly recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. It has capabilities which include Airframe, Engine and Propeller line maintenance for various general aviation types of aircraft.

Our Story

KGKirk Aeronautics hangar is strategically located at Laoag International Airport, the northernmost international airport in the Philippines by geographical location and dubbed as the “window of the north” to the Philippines from its international neighbors. The airport has a 2.7-kilometer runway, and has its own navigational and landing instrument systems suitable for incoming and outgoing international flights. Also, Laoag City itself and the Ilocos region as a whole boast its tourism industry and economic industry being located near Economic Zones and ports.

We, at KGKirk Aeronautic, take pride in our expertise and experience in providing aviation services by providing quality services. Our president and CEO, being a retired Quality Director for the DHC8 and Global Express program of Bombardier Aerospace, the third largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, and MTU Aero Engines, one of the leading aero-engine support companies in the world.

Provided hangarage, ground handling services, and aircraft maintenance services for an around-the-world flight using a Cessna 182.

First military activity engagement

First engagement with the US government for the Joint US-Philippines military activities.

Fourth Aircraft Arrival

Fourth aircraft arrival from Toronto, Canada (RP-C2265 AND RP-C2266).

Handles flights for Balikatan Exercise

KGKirk Aeronautics handled all the flights of US troops at Laoag International Airport for the US-Philippine Balikatan exercise.

Handles all flights for Marine Aviation Support Activity

KGKirk Aeronautics handled all the flights of US troops in Laoag International Airport for the US-Philippine-Marine Aviation Support Activity (MASA).

Assists Airbus A321 due to Engine Failure

KGKirk Aeronautics handled and assisted a Vietjet Airbus A321 aircraft originating from Korea flying back to Vietnam but was diverted to Laoag International Airport due to engine failure.

Assist P8 Poseidon due to electrical systems failure

KGKirk Aeronautics handled and assisted a US Navy P8 Poseidon aircraft flying back to it’s base in Japan after doing a routine flight on the international waters off the west coast of Luzon Island but was diverted to Laoag International Airport due to electrical systems failure.

Assists Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF's) systems

KGKirk Aeronautics handled and serviced the 1st deployment of the 1st MDTF’s MRC weapon systems.

Hosts the visit of Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF) Officer

KGKirk Aeronautics hosted the visit and inspection of General Charles Flynn, the Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific for the 1st MDTF deployment.
