KGKirk Aeronautics Welcomes U.S. and Philippine Military Commanders, Strengthening Defense Collaboration

21 May 2025 – Laoag, Ilocos Norte — In a significant demonstration of enduring partnership and regional cooperation, Rear Admiral Jeromy B. Williams, Commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC), and Major General Ferdinand B. Napuli PA, Commander of the Joint Special Operations Group (JSOG) under the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), paid a courtesy visit to Headquarters, 4th Marine “Makusug” Brigade at Camp Cape Bojeador, Burgos, Ilocos Norte.

The high-level delegation was warmly welcomed by Colonel Joel O. Atienza PN(M) (GSC), Chief of Staff of the 4th Marine Brigade, along with senior brigade staff. Their visit featured an operational briefing and a guided tour of key facilities, providing insights into the brigade’s current initiatives in territorial defense and its continued commitment to protecting national sovereignty.

This engagement reaffirmed the deepening cooperation and interoperability between the AFP and U.S. Forces and highlighted their shared goal of strengthening peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
As part of the itinerary, the U.S. delegation also visited KGKirk Aeronautics Corp., recognizing the growing partnership between SOCPAC and KGKirk in aviation logistics and operational support. During the visit, Rear Admiral Williams personally met with the people behind KGKirk to gain firsthand insight into the company’s services and explore potential areas of collaboration for future engagements.
