During the first few weeks of September, KGKirk Aeronautics Corporation provided essential ground support services to the United States military as part of their training exercises in the northern islands of the Philippines. The deployment highlighted the importance of Laoag as a strategic location and the growing role of KGKirk Aeronautics in providing dependable aviation support in the region.

One of the key areas of support was refueling U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters operating out of Laoag International Airport. To meet the operational needs of the exercise, KGKirk utilized its newly developed facility at the end of Runway 01, which served as the primary staging and refueling point. The site was specifically designed to handle larger-scale operations, and its use during this exercise demonstrated its readiness for both civilian and military aviation requirements.

The exercises also involved night operations, where U.S. forces conducted training missions that required refueling helicopters from C-130 Hercules tankers. These activities were carried out within the Laoag facility, making it the center of coordination for the drills. KGKirk’s ground crew worked hand-in-hand with their U.S. counterparts, ensuring that fuel transfers, safety checks, and logistical support were all handled smoothly and without delays.

Supporting this kind of mission required careful planning and a high level of professionalism. Every refueling operation—whether for helicopters on the ground or during the more complex night-time drills—had to be performed precisely. The ability of KGKirk’s team to deliver these services efficiently reflects both the training of its personnel and the company’s investment in infrastructure to meet international aviation standards.

This successful operation is another step forward in KGKirk Aeronautics’ commitment to serving as a trusted aviation partner in Northern Luzon. By supporting civilian operators and international defense forces, the company continues to show its capacity to adapt to diverse aviation needs, from routine flights to specialized missions.

Our participation in these exercises not only highlights the capabilities of our facilities here in Laoag but also demonstrates the dedication of our team to providing reliable and professional service,” said KGKirk Aeronautics management. “We are proud to support operations that strengthen partnerships and enhance regional aviation readiness.”

With its expanding facilities and proven service record, KGKirk Aeronautics Corporation is steadily establishing itself as a key player in aviation support—ready to meet the needs of partners both in the Philippines and abroad.
