Forging New Heights: KGKirk, AATC, and WCA Unite for a Stronger Future in Philippine Aviation

A Synergy of Excellence

A shared vision drives this landmark partnership: to provide comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality aviation training to aspiring professionals from all walks of life—particularly in underserved regions such as Northern Ilocos. Each organization brings a unique strength to the table:

  • KGKirk Aeronautics Corp. is an aviation service provider known for its aircraft operations, logistics, and disaster response capabilities. Through years of practical industry experience, KGKirk plays a vital role in commercial and humanitarian aviation. Their real-world operational insights will be more deeply integrated into academic and training programs, creating stronger bridges between classroom knowledge and field application.
  • Aviationlink Asia Training Center (AATC), a Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)-an accredited training organization, offers industry-standard pilot and aviation-related courses. AATC is renowned for producing competent and safety-focused aviation professionals. With this venture, AATC extends its reach further north, bringing excellence to new learners in the Ilocos region.

World College of Aeronautics (WCA), established in 2024, is the first aviation college in Northern Ilocos. Located in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, WCA was founded by visionary engineer and pilot Engr. Glenn I. Gorospe, who also heads KGKirk and AATC. WCA was born from a mission to make aviation education more accessible to local communities—especially those deterred by the high cost and logistical hurdles of studying in Metro Manila.

Building the Future of Aviation in Northern Luzon

This venture paves the way for a seamless aviation career pathway—from academic foundation to flight and field training and eventually to professional deployment. Students who begin their journey at WCA can now transition directly into flight programs under AATC and eventually participate in real-world operations or internships facilitated by KGKirk Aeronautics.

This partnership doesn’t just promise education—it delivers experience, exposure, and employability. The collaboration will also enhance access to aircraft maintenance facilities, flight simulators, charter operations, and ground handling services, forming a full-spectrum aviation ecosystem within Northern Luzon.

Economic and Educational Impact

More than just a collaboration, this venture is an economic catalyst. Offering world-class aviation programs locally reduces the financial strain on Ilocano families and encourages homegrown talent to pursue careers that were once out of reach. The initiative also anticipates job creation in training, aircraft maintenance, logistics, and airport services, further stimulating the local economy.

Take the Next Step

With the combined strength of KGKirk, AATC, and WCA, a new era of aviation education and training has dawned in Northern Luzon. This collaboration represents more than institutional cooperation—it’s a transformative step that aligns purpose, passion, and progress toward a shared horizon: building the next generation of aviation professionals for the Philippines and beyond.
