KGKirk Aeronautics Honored at TOWNOL’s 24th Anniversary Celebration
On February 7, 2025, KGKirk Aeronautics proudly participated in the 24th Founding Anniversary of the Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon (TOWNOL). The event, held under the theme “Buong Husay na Lumilipad at Tapat na Naglilingkod Tungo sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran,” was graced by the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), LTGEN Arthur M. Cordura, PAF, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The celebration, hosted by Wing Commander BGEN Angelito R. Retuta, PAF, brought together Officers, Wing Sergeant Majors, and Civilian Human Resources (Civ HRs) to recognize the dedication and exemplary service of outstanding personnel and units. One of the event’s highlights was the awarding ceremony, where KGKirk Aeronautics was honored as a distinguished stakeholder for its invaluable contributions to the PAF.
KGKirk Aeronautics played a crucial role in supporting PAF’s operations at Laoag International Airport, providing essential ground services that facilitated efficient and seamless flight operations. In recognition of this support, the company received a prestigious plaque of recognition, which was accepted by Capt. Walter Halabaso, on behalf of KGKirk Aeronautics’ President and CEO, Capt./Engr. Glenn Gorospe.
During his address, LTGEN Cordura commended TOWNOL’s unwavering commitment to securing national airspace, responding to crises, and supporting national development. He highlighted the wing’s remarkable efforts through Tactical Operations Group 1 (TOG 1) in combating the Ilocos forest fires and acknowledged the success of TOWNOL’s Autism Support Program, recognized as a best practice within the PAF Command Conference.
In his closing remarks, LTGEN Cordura urged all frontliners to continue upholding excellence, integrity, and dedication in service to the nation. He emphasized the importance of remaining mission-oriented, capability-driven, and values-based as the Philippine Air Force continues to soar to greater heights.
